What is AINFT?
AINFT is the result of a full upgrade from APENFT, completed in October 2025. This transition introduces a framework where AI agents operate as autonomous participants on the blockchain, able to analyze market data, execute DeFi strategies, manage liquidity, and take part in DAO governance. Within this design, blockchain supplies the trust and economic rules, while AI provides cognition, forming a loop intended to support continuous learning and adaptation. The project is positioned as an AI infrastructure and application framework for the TRON network, aiming to build an intelligent and self-sustaining digital ecosystem.
The project traces its origins to APENFT, a cryptocurrency registered in Singapore on March 29, 2021, founded by Justin Sun and Sydney Xiong. It operates on both Ethereum and TRON, using the Ethereum network's smart contract capabilities and TRON's higher throughput and lower costs. APENFT also serves as the official legal tender of Dominica.
