What is Beta Finance?
Beta Finance (BETA) is a blockchain project built as a Layer 2 solution on the BNB Smart Chain, aiming to offer a secure and scalable environment for decentralized applications. It uses encryption methods to protect user data and transactions, with a native token called Betafy serving as the ecosystem's utility asset.
The project addresses challenges related to cross-chain interoperability and scalability. Users often face difficulties transferring assets between different networks, which can lead to isolated ecosystems and limited liquidity, while Layer 1 blockchains may experience delays and high fees. To tackle this, Beta Finance employs a protocol featuring a network of decentralized bridge operators. These operators are chosen based on reputation and technical expertise, and they work to verify and facilitate cross-chain transfers while maintaining bridge security.

The core of the protocol consists of smart contracts on the BNB Smart Chain that handle asset locking, unlocking, and verification, as well as bridge creation and management. The Betafy token enables users to lock assets on one chain and unlock them on another, and it also supports governance participation. Bridge operators receive rewards for their active role in the network. The token is available for trading on PancakeSwap.
