What is Sanctum?
CLOUD is the governance token of Sanctum, a liquid staking protocol built on the Solana blockchain. The token is designed to coordinate the ecosystem’s participants, including contributors, stakers, and builders, by allowing them to influence the project’s direction. Holders can engage in a market-based governance system where they buy or sell CLOUD based on their view of proposed changes, with outcomes tied to the collective assessment of a proposal’s potential impact.
Sanctum provides liquid staking services for both individual users and enterprise clients. Its retail offering allows users to stake SOL and receive liquid staking tokens for use in decentralized finance, while its Infinity product manages a diversified basket of staking tokens to generate yields and facilitate trades between them. The protocol also enables businesses to launch custom liquid staking tokens with access to a shared liquidity layer.
