What is Gather?
Gather is a blockchain project developed by a research and development team based in Hong Kong, China, and was launched on April 20, 2024. The platform uses the GProto communication protocol to encrypt information and data. It operates through a distributed long-link cluster and utilizes hardware devices such as G-BOX to support a decentralized messaging exchange network within the DePIN framework.
The asset associated with the platform is the GAT token, which functions as the circulating currency of the Gather ecosystem. It is intended to represent the ecological value of the network and serves as a reference asset for exchanging computing power resources within the system. Participants who contribute to the early-stage infrastructure development of the Gather network may receive GAT tokens as rewards.
