What is a tokenized stock?

SOXXON is a crypto token whose price tracks iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX), an exchange-traded fund. It is not a share in the fund itself. How it is structured depends on the issuer — some tokens are backed by real fund shares held in custody, others are synthetic and simply follow the price. Check the issuing exchange's terms before trading.
