Magma Finance is a decentralized, non-custodial liquidity protocol operating on the Sui blockchain. It features an AI-driven Adaptive Liquidity Market Maker (ALMM) designed to improve capital efficiency and reduce liquidity fragmentation within the Sui DeFi ecosystem. The protocol aims to turn passive capital into actively managed, yield-generating assets.
The ALMM architecture uses discretized liquidity bins, each tied to a fixed price point, which allows for trades with minimal price slippage. Liquidity providers can choose from various strategies, such as uniform, bell-shaped, or U-shaped distributions. A dynamic fee mechanism adjusts variable fees based on market volatility to compensate providers for impermanent loss risk.
