Manifold Finance (FOLD) is associated with the Interfold, an open-source protocol and distributed network designed for confidential coordination. The system enables multiple independent parties to provide private inputs into a shared computation while keeping the underlying data hidden and avoiding reliance on a single central operator. These computations operate within Encrypted Execution Environments (E3s), allowing results to be verified without disclosing the private inputs that contributed to them.
The network supports various applications that require multiparty processes with sensitive information, such as secret ballots, sealed-bid auctions, and confidential analytics. The protocol aims to facilitate secure collaboration among parties who may not fully trust one another, ensuring that no single entity gains control over the computation or the data involved.
