What is Piggycell?
Piggycell (PIGGY) is a cryptocurrency project that connects physical phone-charging services with blockchain technology. It operates through a network of shared power banks in South Korea, where rental and return activities are recorded on the BNB Chain. The project reports over 14,000 charging stations, more than 100,000 devices, and upwards of 4 million paying users, with usage data transmitted on-chain as verifiable records.
The platform offers two main incentive tracks. Charge-to-Earn rewards app users with tokens for renting and using charging stations, while Dominate-to-Earn links physical locations to NFTs that represent claims on usage-based rewards. Additional engagement features include daily check-ins, referral programs, and challenges, all tracked on-chain. The PIGGY token serves multiple purposes, including payments within the app, staking for enhanced features, governance voting, and access control for campaigns.

The token has a fixed maximum supply of 100 million units, distributed across categories such as Dominate-to-Earn (25%), Charge-to-Earn (20%), Challenges (10%), and others including team, liquidity, and treasury allocations. Initial token releases at the generation event vary by category, with liquidity fully unlocked and team tokens subject to a cliff. The project operates on the opBNB network for low transaction costs, and plans to list on decentralized exchanges and centralized platforms. It also aims to develop analytics tools for real-world asset infrastructure.
