What is Pharos?
Pharos is a financial Layer 1 blockchain platform designed to support RealFi, a concept that involves bringing real-world value and institutional-grade assets onto the blockchain. These assets are intended to be interoperable with decentralized assets, potentially forming a new foundation for global finance. The project aims to enable real-time financial operations onchain through a combination of modular architecture, deep-parallel execution, and integrated compliance features.
The initiative is led by former leadership and engineers from Ant Group, and it has received financial backing from investors including Hack VC, Faction VC, and other global traditional finance (TradFi) entities.
